Master of Arts in Diplomacy
Norwich's Master of Arts in Diplomacy program is unique in content and structure. The first half provides you with an understanding of the global system. With this foundation you then customize your degree by branching out into specific concentration areas including International Conflict Management, International Commerce and International Terrorism. The concentrations allow you to dig deeply into your chosen field, ensuring a rich return on your educational investment and an increased ability to make a contribution to that field.
Achieving success
Classes are limited to 15 students or less. A small class size affords you a higher level of individualized support and one-to-one instruction from faculty. You are empowered to learn on your own, and with your peers, through asynchronous discussion groups where you may share, comment, and work on course materials, as your instructor dialogue with and mentors you. Our online learning environment ensures your success with unlimited instructional and technical support.
Managing your time
The School of Graduate Studies online programs are designed to accommodate the schedules of working professionals who are balancing their work and home lives. The asynchronous delivery gives you the ability to factor in the demands of your personal life or professional duties in meeting the program schedule.
Financing your graduate studies
The majority of Norwich students are utilizing financial aid to finance their graduate studies. Financing your graduate school education can be a daunting task if you are unfamiliar with the process, timeline, expectations, and options. Our job is to make this process a smooth journey for you, regardless of where you eventually attend graduate school.
Learning from the best
Norwich faculty excel in engaging you in the online learning environment. They draw on a range of learning approaches including case studies, lectures, group-work, and real-world projects. They recognize their responsibility to bring experience and expertise to bear in the classroom, to facilitate vibrant and engaging discussion of the subject matter, and to support you in all of your learning activities.
Accreditation
Norwich University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
History and Heritage Established in 1819, Norwich University is a quality university with a balance of strong professional and liberal arts programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Norwich has always been a leader in traditional and online higher education.
